By helping us create an awareness that gluten-free food assistance exists<\/strong> and to make it accessible to everyone who needs it.<\/strong> \u00a0We are reaching out to you because pantries such as yours are the key to getting safe food to the gluten-intolerant in your community. Imagine someone who leaves your pantry as hungry as when they came in because there are no gluten-free food products available for them to eat.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 <\/span><\/strong>What do I have to do?<\/strong><\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

As a lifeline to the hungry, you can join in our efforts by providing your clients gluten-free food choices.<\/strong> Offering gluten-free emergency food assistance to your clients is easy and free. Our GF food bank will provide your pantry with gluten-free emergency food. Pierce\u2019s Pantry will collect the donations of shelf stable gluten-free foods and distribute them to your pantry per your request. We will provide you with several grocery bags of gluten-free emergency food\u00a0to start you off with. Should you have a client with ongoing needs, simply contact us for additional food.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 <\/span><\/strong>My food pantry does not have clients who need a gluten-free diet<\/strong><\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

Actually, you do.<\/strong> People with celiac disease or gluten-intolerance would not even think a food pantry could accommodate their medical dietary needs, and that is why they do not mention it. We will provide you with informational posters for your waiting area, letting your clients know that gluten-free food assistance is available for them at your pantry.<\/span><\/p>\n
